Even though Soul Calibur V is days away from its February 3rd release date, Namco Bandai has gone ahead and announced DLC (Downloadable Content) for their upcoming fighting game. This DLC will be available throughout February for both the Xbox360 and the PS3 and here’s what it brings to the table:
Who will return?
Pack 1: Launch Day
Nine exotic customization items including bikinis, wings and face paints
Original music from Soul Blade and Soulcalibur (tracks also available individually for $.99 or 80 MS points)
Pack 2: Valentine’s Day February 14th
Nine fearsome customization items including breast plate, kimono and animal heads
Original music from Soulcalibur II and III (tracks also available individually for $.99 or 80 MS points)
Pack 3: February 28th
Nine exclusive customization items including mask, face paint, camouflage and skull
Original music from Soulcalibur IV and Soulcalibur : Broken Destiny (tracks also available individually for $.99 or 80 MS points)
Each item of DLC will set you back by $1.99 or 160 MS Points. Doesn’t sound like a lot of money but it’s sad to see companies like Namco stoop to such levels when smaller companies like Polish developer CD Projekt offer far more significant DLC absolutely free.
Thanks to Gameinformer for the heads up.
