Google's social network is slotted to have 400 million users by the end of 2012. According to the Economic Times, analyst Paul Allen says that about 625,000 people were signing up for Google+ everyday. In addition, since 700,000 Android devices are being bought everyday, the number is likely to increase. Facebook currently has 800 million users while being in existence, of course, for a lot longer than Google+.
Google+ is filling up
Allen says, "Based on the accelerated growth I'm seeing and all the dials and levers Google can still utilise, and the developer ecosystem that will be developed, I predict that 2012 is going to be a breakout year for Google Plus and that it will end next year with more than 400 million users." The numbers are not based on actual facts and figures, and Allen's prediction could be just a guess. Google+ currently has 150 million active users.
