Mortal Kombat, Midway’s uber popular fighting franchise will be heading to the Vita this March. According to Eurogamer, the Vita version will feature the same content as its console counterpart including the ability to play as God of War, Kratos, as well as some exclusive stuff Midway have not disclosed yet.

Midway’s Ed Boon shares his thoughts on developing this game for the Vita, "The NetherRealm team is committed to making sure that we follow up the success of 2011's Mortal Kombat with an equally compelling experience on the PlayStation Vita. The original game content and new features we developed for the PlayStation Vita will provide gamers with the best fighting game experience available on the new mobile platform."

Good news for those looking at investing in this handheld console. The PlayStation Vita will launch in India sometime this February for a price that’s not yet been announced by Sony.
