The dust on the latest iPhone 4S has barely settled and Apple is armed with a generation leap for its devices. While iPad 3 is rumored to release on Steve Job’s birthday in February, the highly anticipated (or over-hyped) iPhone 5 (or whatever Apple plans to name it) is also in the making and will be launched later next year. BGR reports that the next generation Apple iPhone will be released in fall 2012.
iPhone 5 coming in fall next year?
The next generation iPhone 5 is expected to get a major design makeover with a 4-inch display screen and aluminium body. Although there is no mention of the tapered design, as hinted byCase-Mate, the company will be using rubber or plastic material used in its bumper cases. The bezel of the device surrounding the front edge will be crafted using this material. This is said to pave the way in joining the glass iPhone face with aluminium back plate alongside cover the redesigned antenna system to build the rear of the device. This will also enable Apple to build the rear case using aluminium and negate the use of large plastic insert above the antennas, as seen in the iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G.
It is believed that Steve Jobs spent a lot of time over the iPhone 5, which was suppose to make its debut this year when everyone was surprised with the launch of the iPhone 4S, this fall.
