If the sources at BGR are to be believed, then Samsung is probably going to launch an 11.6-inch tablet, next year. Samsung have covered a range of sizes – 10.1, 8.9, 5.3-inch and whilst it might be confusing for most as to what to choose, it’s definitely better to have a range of options to select from than just stick with what you get. So, the tablet to be launched will quite naturally have Google’s latest Ice Cream Sandwich version of their operating system. The rest of the specs they’ve mentioned include a dual-core Exynos 5250 CPU clocked at 2GHz with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. Quad-core might be the flavour next year, so we’re not too sure about the dual-core processor, yet.
An 11.6-inch version coming soon?
As part of the features, the tablet will have Android Beam for media syncing with a Galaxy Nexus, along with a new wireless docking mode for playback on HDTVs. Also, it’s all still speculation as of now, so unless there’s a confirmed announcement from Samsung or some leaked snaps, there’s not enough fodder to feed on.
