Big Flix comes to Android and iOS devices

Big Flix, the movie-on-demand service that allows a user to stream as well as download (for the 1st time legally in India) movies has come to both Android and iOS devices. Using this software, users can view Hindi, Regional and English movies along with popular TV shows in HD quality on their Android or Apple device. Naturally, legal and free don’t go together, so you do have to pay a monthly subscription fee of Rs. 249 per month.

What’s definitely noteworthy with this application is that users will finally be able to view movies on their portable devices without all the extended advertisements and breaks. Also, it’s a more personal viewing experience and all the latest movies are supported by the app. True, it’ll be on a small screen, but if you’re travelling or on the move constantly, then it makes for a great companion. Also, if you’re a movie buff or a couch potato who wants everything at an arm’s length, then this seems to be quite handy an application. Along with the above stuff, you can also access trailers, music videos and short films on your Android or Apple smartphone.

This app provides some good quality movie viewing experience to the movie buffs in India at the user's preferred time, sans the advertisements, across all devices such as desktops, tablets, smartphones and connected TVs. We did a brief hands-on with the Android version of the application and the interface is pretty quick. The movies are neatly segregated and finding your popular movies won’t really take time. Is a movie-on-demand service for your smartphone a good idea? Or you’ll just download it on your PC, convert it and load it on to your smartphone. Obviously, the first one is easier considering you don’t have to search and convert, but you need to pay for the services. On the other hand, the second option is more popular, because it’s free.
