Facebook Timeline comes to Android, before iOS

Yesterday, along with uniformly rolling out the Timeline feature for its web users, Facebook introduced the feature to its Android users, too. Confirming in an official blog post by Facebook's product manager, Mick Johnson, Facebook stated that it was rolling out the Timeline feature across to its Android users and on m.facebook.com.

The post further states that like in the browser version, the Android version, too prominently displays the cover image right at the top. Also, as you move further down in your profile, similarly placed events, photos, posts show up, in a chronological order; much like it does in the browser version of the feature. On your Android smartphone, you can view your photos by horizontally swiping through the screen; and you will notice that the photo icons appear bigger, too.

However, the highlight remains to be fact that Facebook chose Android over iOS, whilst rolling out this app. However, be sure of an iOS availabilility coming soon, but for now, it's Android.
