Rajnikanth's website runs without Internet

Even though a new Rajnikanth movie isn't out yet, the newest Rajnikanth joke is. Rajnikanth is so all powerful that his website runs without Internet. Desimartini.com has actually made that joke a reality. The Bollywood news hub has released a microsite, which will literally only let you use it if your computer is not connected to the Internet. When you first enter the site, it will welcome you warmly, but the tab to enter the website will only work once the website has detected that you aren't connected to the Internet. Once you've removed the ethernet cable or disabled Wi-Fi, the website will let you in and it then takes you through the life and times of action hero, Rajnikanth.

To continue using the site, your Internet connection has to be off. Otherwise, you will be greeted with the message, "Aiyyo! That was unexpected. To keep browsing, switch off your Internet." The website was designed by WebChutney, who for Rajnikanth's 61st birthday, wanted to design a website that reflects that Rajnikanth is no ordinary man. That's why they designed "no ordinary website", which runs on 'Rajni power', not the Internet.

Once you access the website, you're taken to a page with three links. One to look at Rajnikanth's life history, i.e. where he was born and various milestones in his life. Another link takes you through all the things he's done professionally, including his "worst decision" to give up being a conductor. Finally, users can also access behind the scenes information from Rajnikanth's films and more. According to TruthDive, WebChutney's Creative Director, Gurbaksh Singh said, "The website is based on a complex algorithm running in the back-end that keeps an eye on the propagation of data packets between two terminals."
