Sony India launches 65-inch BRAVIA LED TV


Sony India has launched its biggest screen size 65 (165cms) HX925 LED TV in the current line-up of their BRAVIA models. The newly launched LED TV is powered by X-Reality PRO Engine, Intelligent Peak LED and Motionflow technology. X-Reality PRO is the new picture engine from Sony, which analyses each scene pixel-by-pixel and uses a sophisticated pattern to optimize the picture. It offers detailed picture quality and better colour reproduction. The LED Backlight technology with local dimming function offers better contrast, thinner panel and lesser power consumption. Sony’s Motionflow technology increases the frame rate by up to four times, which allows clearer and smoother images.

The Sony BRAVIA KDL-65HX925 also comes with a rich Internet content library from YouTube, Sony Entertainment Network, Star TV, BIGFlix, Times Internet Limited (Indiatimes.com), Bollywood Hungama, What’s-On-India, FridayMoviez, enabling customers to get direct access to programs, news, songs, and albums. Users can even surf Internet on TV through the remote or any connected smartphone with this new BRAVIA TV. This LED TV can also be controlled by an Android or iPhone by downloading the free “Media Remote” app. Also, to make searching convenient for the consumers this media remote application allows you to search songs, albums, applications easily, with the help of voice search. The voice search, available on Android phones, responds to direct voice commands given by users and displays it on the television screen. Besides this, the KDL-65HX925 also has social media applications like Facebook, Twitter and Skype.  

Sony’s Full HD 3D HDTV, alternatively reproduces distinct Full HD 1080 images for each eye to deliver 3D pictures. The active shutter glasses are designed to help shut-out external light from all sides, allowing users to view movies, even in bright environment. The 3D experience can be viewed with a wide 120-degree viewing angle and a long enough communication range. The infrared transmitter reduces interference with its reliable and stable signal. An advanced algorithm on Sony 3D HDTV converts existing Cyber-shot photos, 2D TV shows, sports, movies and games to simulated 3D. This model is priced at Rs. 3,59,900 and comes bundled with a Skype camera and two pairs of 3D glasses
