WD launches new wireless streaming media player


Western Digital has introduced the next generation of its WD TV Live streaming media player, an easy to use Wi-Fi enabled media player. WD TV Live features their newest user interface that delivers the latest hit movies, TV shows, music and the best of Internet content from companies like Vimeo, Playjam, Deezer, TuneIn, SnagFlims, Comedy Time, and Watch Mojo YouTube, Facebook directly to the TV in Full-HD 1080p resolution. The streaming media player easily connects to the Internet wirelessly or through an Ethernet connection, with support for 802.11n wireless connectivity.

In addition to premium Internet content, WD TV Live allows users to view personal media, such as photos, video and music on their home entertainment systems with support for a wide range of file formats for streaming content from any connected USB drive, digital camcorder or camera, network drive storage, and any networked PC or Mac computer in the home. The new WD TV Live streaming media player is available at most electronics retailer shops and is priced at Rs. 7,900.
